Being able to choose the right golf ball could be just what you need to turn an awful game to a wonderful one. However, it does not mean that you should just trot out and buy the golf ball that Tiger Woods uses to instantly turn you into a world champion. You would still need to choose the golf ball that would work for you.

The three different types of golf balls are: two-piece balls, three-piece balls and high performance balls.

If you wish to improve the distance shots you are making, you golf would need to use the two-piece golf ball. If you wish to improve your accuracy, then you might opt to use a three-piece golf ball or a high performance golf ball.

For beginners, two-piece golf balls would be more advisable as they are cheaper compared to the other golf balls. Also, two-piece golf balls would be great for those who are slow swingers since these balls have a larger rubber core, which would assure a faster speed.

For golfers whose accuracy is inconsistent, two-piece golf balls would also be the better choice, because three-piece golf balls just would not do if you would be making a couple of inaccurate hits in a game. Also, if you are still working on your precision, high performance balls would not be the best way to go as these balls would be more suitable for the professional golfers who have already mastered their games.

Golf balls are definitely something that you would need to give importance to as you learn more in golf and as you work on your skills to become better st your game. Being equipped with the right type of golf balls that would work to your advantage would definitely improve your score and eventually help you move on to the more competitive playing field.

What are the best places to golf in the Chicagoland area?
What are the best places to golf in the Chicagoland area? My boyfriend and I are going to move to golf the area. He loves to golf and I would like to know about the different golf courses/centers in the area. I have never golfed. It is almost his birthday and I would like to surprise him with some type of golfing excursion or golfing gift certificates. Do you have any ideas as to where/what I can give him?

  1. Haase says:

I recently purchased this for a golf trip with some buddies and it has really been great. Considering its Samsonite I was impressed with the price (although I still paid a little more than here). I was actually able to carry this onto the plane stuff to the gills, although it may be slightly too big if you dont want to take chances. But for anyone that likes to golf and travels a bit this is a must have.

  2. Ehrlich says:

I wear size 15 shoes, and there is enough room in the shoe area for 2 pairs (both in width and depth). Also plenty of space for a rain suit, 2 dozen balls, tees, etc. I was looking for something where I didn’t have to carry extra items in my golf bag, and this thing fits the bill (to a tee!).

  3. Kurten says:

I know I’m going to like this quality bag. I just got it today and loaded it up with my golf stuff. I’d give it five stars if it had a shoulder strap…but maybe I can reg up a strap from an old briefcase.
The shoe compartment is plenty large for two pair of shoes. The person that rated it low for that reason is not thinking. Shoes will fit on their soles pretty well…yes, a little tight, but if you slide them in on their sides…like in a shoe box, they fit even better.
This is a quality Samsonite product. get it for $30 and it’s a good price.

  4. Jesson says:

Everything about the bag is wonderful. However, the shoe compartment in the bottom is collapsing all the time. I am going to try and find some sturdy plastics to support the structure. I would think they would have discovered this flaw during testing :(

3/2/10 – I placed cardboards[from shipping box] around the shoe compartment and duck taped them. Now, the shoe compartment is no longer collapsing.

  5. Nevarez says:

rather than spending an extra $10, I bought this one. useless. maybe it’s just the one I got, but it’s blurry. I had one (that was left in a cart) that I used to find my ball more than for distances, but this one can’t focus on anything. you get what you pay for.

  6. Crenshaw says:

This item looks good on paper but in practice is quite unusable. In order to have a workable yardage reading from which to select a club, it is necessary to hold the scope absolutely rock solid while sighting on the green pin. This is an impossible task. While the manufacturer acknowledges that the reading is approximate, “approximate” takes on whole new meaning with this scope. Readings are easily + or – 20 yards. Compared with this size of an error, my eyeball does equally as good a job.

  7. Fry says:

This scope is what it is, a small, graduated monocular. You must hold it steady to use it effectively. It should be used to augment your distance estimates, in addition to course markers, etc. You don’t get sophistication at this price. For beginning golfers, it’s better than a wag!

  8. Levine says:

Can not reliably use the golf scope to estimate the yardage since it is impossible for me to hold it steady. I should have listened to bad review of this product. Wish I could return it except my children broke it while they were playing with this.

  9. Newmyer says:

I can’t tell the difference between these Top Flights and a Pro-V-1. Plus, I lose them before they wear out so it’s a bargain price.

  10. Joseph says:

I’ve been using the Callaway Warbird golf ball since they came on a yellow box and with the Callaway sign also in yellow, without regrets. This new design is the same quality with updated attributes and a modern look. These little balls can fly and feel great all around the golf course if you’re are not a professional golfer or a low handicapper, as I understand spin is not that good and being double core some very fast swingers will lose some advantage. But if you are a casual golfer and want a great ball that don’t make you cry when you lose it into the woods or drop it into the water, these are the balls for you

I would say these are the best balls on its category

  11. Hou says:

These balls are very good for the price.
You can pay alot more but your just waisting your money unless your a scratch golfer which most golfers are not.

  12. McNamara says:

Not much I can say about these balls except that my Dad loves to use them for golf and asks for them for special occasions because they are pricey. He seems to really enjoy them so they must be good BALLS.

  13. Alcond says:

No broken tees when I received these. They are cheap and do the job. I really like the red since everyone out there seems to go for the white or natural.

  14. Contreras says:

I really like red tees for some reason. Maybe its the little mark left on the front of you driver to show where you made contact with the ball. Maybe its just a weird color preference. Anyways, this was an excellent deal for this amount of tees.

  15. Niswander says:

these tees are a perfect length for driving off the tee with the long clubs. the price for the 100 pc bag was a bargain and I am very happy with my purchase of a few bags. Now they just need to improve my drive…

  16. Asher says:

These things did a good job at holding my ball off the ground a little. Come in pretty colors too.

  17. Griswold says:

My husband was very very happy with the product. They are the good stuff.
    thanks
